簡單說明一下有關 Gimp 的版本意義，目前最新版本 2.6.7
前兩個數字為其主要版本，雙數代表正式穩定的版本，單數則為開發中的版本
最後一個數字為次版本，主要都是在修正一些bugs，不會加入什麼新功能
新功能只會在主要版本更新時才會加入
例如目前筆刷雖可以放大縮小，但還無法旋轉，下個版本2.8就會加入這個功能
所以如果你目前使用的版本(2.6.x)在使用上沒有什麼問題，也不一定要更新到最新的版本
