簡單說明一下有關 Gimp 的版本意義，目前最新版本 2.6.7
前兩個數字為其主要版本，雙數代表正式穩定的版本，單數則為開發中的版本
最後一個數字為次版本，主要都是在修正一些bugs，不會加入什麼新功能
新功能只會在主要版本更新時才會加入
例如目前筆刷雖可以放大縮小，但還無法旋轉，下個版本2.8就會加入這個功能
所以如果你目前使用的版本(2.6.x)在使用上沒有什麼問題，也不一定要更新到最新的版本

GIMP Ctrl-A 反白圖片製作
Ctrl-A Images 反白圖片就是一張圖片 Ctrl-A 全選反白之後會變成另外一張圖片
不過這只對 IE 瀏覽器有用，FireFox 上是沒有效果的
製作步驟是蠻簡單的

GIMP:GIF檔案格式調校
一般我們照片或影片所能使用的色彩是 1千6百多萬色
而動畫 gif 的檔案格式，它最多只能使用 256色，再加上沒有什麼壓縮能力
因次在存成動畫gif檔時，如果對儲存結果不是很滿意
或許是覺得檔案太大或是對畫質不是很滿意
那你可以在製作完圖檔在影像還是RGB全彩的時候
『 圖片 』->『 模式 』->『 索引色 』如下圖自己來決定色盤及處理方式

GIMP Animation Package v2.6.0(for Windows)重新編譯

這是重編譯的檔案
編譯時語言包的路徑現改設到 C:\Program Files\Gimp-2.0\share\locale
所以，如果你的Gimp是安裝在 C:\Program Files\Gimp-2.0
那麼安裝完後，Video 下的一些選單都有中文化了
